max_tolkoff_198024170.jpgCurrently Max is the head of his own independent consultancy, He is the Ex- Program Director of Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles, a station Rolling Stone magazine in May of 2008 named as the Best Rock Station in America in its Best Of Rock 2008 issue. Indie flipped to a Spanish language format in January of 09'. Max's account of the demise of Indie was published in the Huffington Post.

Before that, WFNX in Boston dragged Max back for his second stint as Operations Manager and PD in October of 2004. Max's first tenure at FNX ran from 1989 to 1994 where he delivered the station it's highest ratings ever.

Previously, Max was the Alternative Editor for Radio & Records, the industry's premier trade newspaper.
Highly regarded as one of the founding fathers of Alternative radio, Max was also the host of the now-defunct radio show Modern Rock Live, once heard in over 75 cities. Max also spent a year as Senior Director of Alternative Promotion for A&M Records.,.

Additionally, Max was the Alternative Editor for The Gavin Report.
For most of the 80's he was the PD of 91X in San Diego. It was the period of the station's highest ratings, generating 12+ shares in the sixes, placing the station regularly in the top 3 in market share. Unduplicated to this day.

In 1988 Max developed The Edge format for Jacobs Media, which eventually wound up on over 30 Alterntaive outlets by the mid 90's .

About Jane Asher:

Jane Asher is a natural connector, who got her start in the media world through radio in Michigan in 1980. She soon traveled west and has worked at legendary radio stations such as KTYD Santa Barbara, KGB, KSON and KIFM in San Diego. She also received the prestigious Marconi Award for her work on Smooth Jazz KIFM.

Her natural curiosity led her to expand her business by including marketing and social media. When anyone asks her what she does for a living she responds; "I connect inspired people with one another, especially those with a desire to help others."

Jane has been involved in many international missions. She is part of a team that has been building homes in Tijuana for families in need for five years. She has also traveled to El Salvador to feed the homeless; Malaysia to help build a school on Borneo, and Armenia to work with women and children in the small village on Amre Taza. In 2019 she has plans to travel to the Dominican Republic and Africa on humanitarian missions.

After years in broadcasting, voiceover and social media she is finally answering her true calling. Writing. Her forth-coming book In the Next Room deals with her fascination and connection with souls that have transitioned. She is actively in research mode and writing daily. Her new show on Empower is part of her attraction, process and research for her book.
