What would you do if you were diagnosed with breast cancer and on television?  That's what happened to Robyn Haines, news anchor on 9and10 news. Robyn was 27 when she was diagnosed and she took what could have been a very private battle with cancer public so her viewers could understand what happens to someone when they go through chemo, have a mastectomy, reconstruction and eventually survivorship.

Mel Majoros, currently in remission, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. On a lucky break after her cancer surgery she was offered a job as a producer on a local talk sports show in Michigan where she advocates about cancer and other health related topics. She brings a unique perspective to being a survivor, always keeping a positive attitude and an athletes mentality for dealing with cancer and survivorship.
