Through time, they have had many opportunities to expand their hearts through travel, work and service to others. Throughout their lives, both separately and together they have had many “incarnations.” From bartending and waiting tables to running a manufacturing company, they draw from a rich history of experience and adventure.

Rob has a MA in English History. He is currently a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), a National Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker (NCTMB), a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and an ACE Personal Trainer.

Steve has a BA in Business Management. He is now a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), a National Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker (NCTMB) and an ACE Personal Trainer and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist.

Currently, Rob and Steve strive to provide, those who ask, attainable tools to help them achieve their personal goals – whether these goals are spiritual or physical, Steve and Rob provide insight through meditation, yoga, massage and personal training. Buddhism says that we all have an underlining “unsatisfactoriness” until we find our own meaning and our own sense of happiness. Shakespeare says, “There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.” In their monthly column, “Themes for Life” their goal is to touch on the common themes that run through each of our lives – it’s about being Human! They believe that by sharing these collective stories, we can tap into the commonality of existence to find that we are more alike and more bonded than we are not.   The Themes of our own Lives change and grow as we evolve and mature. Any theme that currently runs strong in your life can open your heart to a whole spectrum of possibilities.

About Cheryl Maloney:

Cheryl first started writing a blog in 2009 when she was an out-of-work, out-of-shape, over-fifty corporate executive, collecting unemployment, questioning her own worth, dealing with her husband Jack’s scary health diagnoses and beating herself up for the stupid financial mistakes she had made.

After months of writing daily, she started posting her thoughts on Facebook in March 2009. Believing she was not alone in her challenges … she came to realize was that there are more people dealing with some major issue in their lives than expected. Simple Steps Real Change posts have been viewed over fifty million times.  Now they know that they are not alone either!

Her book, “Simple Steps for Real Life” was released in 2012 along with “Simple Inspirations, a collection of original quotes and images by her late husband, photographer, Jack Maloney.  She is also the author of “Simple Steps… Real Change, the Book” which is available on her website.
