A Beautiful Dying on The Next Room with Michele Little

Michele Weiss-Little learned a lesson no one should ever have to learn. Without warning, her brother FDNY Firefighter, David M Weiss, Rescue 1, while rescuing thousands of people from the North Tower of the World Trade Center, disappeared without a trace. Gone. Nothing was said or prepared for.

Now, her grief has become her mission; to inspire individuals to speak out and plan for their final exit with respect and deep compassion. This is the reason her passion project was born ― the Beautiful Dying Expo. This year of reflection has given us time to navigate through life's journey and move the conversation to a plan of action with love, connection and celebration.

Join us at the first Beautiful Dying Virtual Expo from November 13 through the 15th, right from you home.

"This is the only moment we have. Make it the most precious moment we've got.”

Michele_Little_992481229.jpgMichele Little is a Certified Death Midwife who helps us prepare for the end of this life at Beautiful Dying Company. Conducting monthly workshops online, called Exit Papers 101, Michele holds our hands as she helps prepare the essential final paperwork for the dying and the death - the medical directives, the family tree, the final wishes, funeral arrangements, the memorials and bequests. Michele arrives at this calling the consummation of her history as a peace maker and life transformationalist, from leading women's empowerment circles to Shamanic drumming in Ireland. From directing corporate project management to supporting and honoring First Responders, and children worldwide.

Michele is the producer of the Beautiful Dying Collective Insights that commenced on May 11, 2020 following the COVID-19 pandemic. These daily Insights are an invitation to our community-at-large to get to know who, what, why, and how our collaborators are sharing next steps leading us to the 2020 Beautiful Dying Expo in November.

About Jane Asher:

Jane Asher has always been a natural connector who has enjoyed a successful career in media and the music industry, most notably at major radio stations in San Diego and Santa Barbara. Several years ago, she stepped away from terrestrial radio when Empower Radio reached out and asked her to create a show about her passion. The Next Room podcast was born.

Demystifying death daily, she interviews professionals and practitioners from diverse backgrounds about death, dying, grief, beliefs and cultural traditions surrounding the journey we all must ultimately make. The show airs across 11 platforms and has connected her with extraordinary people throughout this community. The Next Room has recently become the official podcast of the Beautiful Dying Expo.

Jane is also passionate about being involved in mission work. She has been part of a team for over five years that has built homes in Tijuana for families in need through Lutheran Border Concerns. She has traveled to El Salvador to feed the homeless, Malaysia to help build a school on Borneo, and Armenia to work with women and children in the small village of Amre Taza. Most recently, she was on a humanitarian mission in the Dominican Republic.

Her book, The Next Room is a story transcending space and time, of a relationship between mother and daughter that grew stronger through death. Written together, by initially enlisting interpretation through a psychic medium, The Next Room takes us on a daughter's journey through learning eternal life lessons on forgiveness, grief, grace, gratitude, and the limitless love of all, God.

Jane lives in San Diego with her husband, Tom. She is now answering her passion-filled purpose and writing daily alongside her puppy and muse, Mamba.
